Since its inception, Voice Perfect has supported the Dragon range of products, specifically the industry leading Dragon NaturallySpeaking, and in 1998 that support was formalised when Voice Perfect was made an official distribution partner for Dragon. As ownership of the Dragon products were moved to Lernout & Hauspie and finally Nuance (formerly ScanSoft), Voice Perfect has maintained their official distribution recognition and unrivalled level of support.

Voice Perfect’s pathology vocabulary, PathSpeak, was jointly developed with the Queensland State Government, and is currently used in pathology laboratories worldwide.

Voice Perfect’s development team also assisted Dragon Systems in creating the Australian speech and language models for Dragon NaturallySpeaking, a major and essential inclusion in version 4 of the product, and the first time general purpose speech recognition software was designed specifically for the Australian market. Already an integral sales partner with Dragon, Voice Perfect became a valued development partner as well, a partnership that has continued with Dragon Systems’ evolution into Nuance.

In 2005, Voice Perfect developed and released Multi-Speak, the first and only commercial real time multi-voice speech recognition program in the world. Developed for use by government departments, Multi-Speak can also be utilised in any sort of business straight out of the box. Using Voice Perfect’s patented technologies, Multi-Speak has already been implemented in government departments and businesses in Australian and overseas with excellent results.
