Ideal for recording multiple voices at once in a boardroom environment, the Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker is a second generation array microphone that tracks the location of speakers’ voices, and directs itself accordingly. This gives you the freedom to move around your workspace, you no longer have to sit directly in front of the microphone, enabling you to work more effectively and naturally. For teleconferencing applications, the Voice Tracker quickly and reliably focuses its listening beam to the current talker, eliminating the need for multiple microphones. The Voice Tracker also has the longest range of any array microphone presently available, enabling it to be used in even your largest room.
Because the Voice Tracker creates a listening beam, all secondary noises from outside the beam are filtered out, and additional noise cancelling technology further reduces the possibility of background noises and reverberations being recorded. Tested results from the Voice Tracker are comparable to those achieved with normal headset mics.
The Voice Tracker is designed to be easy to use, needing no software installation or putting any extra demand on your computer’s processor. All you need to do is plug it into your existing computer’s sound card and power it from a standard wall socket. In addition, there no moving parts, so the Voice Tracker is rugged and dependable.
