Plantronics
Plantronics was incorporated in 1961, and quickly built an enviable reputation as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of lightweight communications headset products. Initially targeting the aviation market, Plantronics became part of world history when Neil Armstrong spoke the first words from the surface of the moon through a Plantronics SPENCOM headset. Plantronics has since expanded to create headsets for the home, business and entertainment sectors. Based in Santa Cruz, California, Plantronics has corporate offices in 19 countries worldwide, and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
