Unlike most handset lifters, which respond to sounds of a certain frequency, the GN 1000 uses magnetic sensor technology to track movement of your telephone’s speaker. When an incoming call makes the phone ring, and therefore moves the speaker, the GN 1000 responds and alerts you to the call. This system has been proven to be more reliable than older, frequency based systems, meaning that you’ll never miss a call again.
